Why We Serve
At Vineyard Church, we believe that serving others is an essential expression of our faith. We follow the example of Jesus, who taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our commitment to service is rooted in the belief that we can make a difference in the lives of our church family and the wider community.
If you’re inspired to serve and be a part of our community-building ministries, we invite you to join us. Each ministry offers unique opportunities for personal growth and making a positive impact. Whether you have a heart for hospitality, a passion for music, a commitment to prayer, or a desire to lead small groups, we have a place for you to serve.
Hospitality Ministry: Preparing a Place of Welcome
Our Hospitality Ministry prepares a warm and inviting atmosphere every Sunday morning. They ensure that our continental breakfast is ready, and they set up and clean up the church space, creating a comfortable environment for all. Join us in extending a friendly welcome to our church family and guests.
Music Ministry: Worshiping through Song
Our Music Ministry is the heart of our acoustic praise team. Musicians and vocalists come together to lead us in worship through songs that lift our spirits and connect us with God’s presence. Join our music team in making a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Prayer Ministry: Interceding for One Another
In the spirit of John Wimber’s five-step prayer model, our Prayer Ministry plays a crucial role in our congregation’s spiritual journey. These intercessors not only pray for our church family during services but also throughout the week. Join us in seeking God’s guidance, healing, and blessings for our community.
Small Group Leaders: Nurturing Faith through Fellowship
Our Small Group Leaders are dedicated to leading our weekly small groups in prayer, worship, and Bible study. They provide a space for spiritual growth and deepening relationships. Join our small group leaders in nurturing faith and community.
One small way we can help is through the ongoing distribution of “Manna Bags.” A team of volunteers in the church gathers supplies that include useful items such as non-perishable food items, water, socks, and local ‘helps’ information. The items are placed in a Ziploc bag for distribution every Sunday.
Together, we can make a difference. Join us in serving our church family and the wider community.
